I met the lord in the capitol of the country
with a gaggle of people who called him their own
They said that he'd asked them nothing
they said he wasn't around before, and so

my brother said "my type"
my sisters all rang it in

I met the lord on the floor of a one car train
asking some stranger if he'd be so kind to learn my name
the sound of the tracks behind my back muffled his reply
I promptly gave up hearing him and rested behind my eyes

my brother said "my type"
my sisters all rang it in

"let's all go looking for him"

I met myself in a mirror wearing sunshades
wondering why I thought my soul was inside my body
he said "watch out, brother, or before you get old
you'll realize your body is inside your soul"

and my brother sang just right
my sisters all weighed it in

I guess we're staying with him
